REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS:
The City of Gastonia is seeking proposals for microtransit services within the City of Gastonia, North Carolina.
To obtain a copy of the proposal, interested parties can download the document from the link below or by contacting Cindy Forrester, Division Manager of Fleet Services at (704) 836-0039 or cindyf@cityofgastonia.com.
Proposals will be accepted on or before 5:00 pm, Tuesday, January 17, 2023 at the City of Gastonia Fleet Services Office, 800 N. Broad Street, Gastonia, North Carolina 28054 or via email to cindyf@cityofgastonia.com.
The City of Gastonia reserves the right to reject any and all proposals.
ADDENDUM 1 - RFP MICROTRANSIT SERVICES (PUBLISHED DECEMBER 20, 2022)
The Gastonia Transit bus fleet consists of nine (9) 35-foot transit buses, two (2) 28-foot transit buses, and three (3) demand response vans. All units are air-conditioned and designed to accommodate our mobility-impaired passengers. All buses pass through the downtown transfer terminal, Bradley Station, located at 121 N. Oakland Street. This allows for quick and easy transfers to be made.
