Severe storms and natural disasters, especially during the winter, can cause a variety of electrical safety hazards in and around our homes. Unfortunately, many of these electrical safety hazards remain long after the storm has passed. To help protect you from storm-related electrical hazards, The City of Gastonia’s Electric Department is providing the information available here to help you prepare for and respond to potential electric hazards created by storms.
