Leak Adjustment Request

The billing supervisor may adjust the water and sewer bill for any water that has gone through the meter but has not been consumed in accordance with the City of Gastonia's Water and Sewer Policy for Adjustment. The customer must provide information regarding the leak and a copy of a bill or material’s used for the repair. The adjustment is based on the customer’s 12 previous month average for water and sewer usage. A customer is eligible for one adjustment in a thirty-six month period. An adjustment form and policy can be found below. Completed requests and repair bills may be faxed to 704.854.6681 or returned to the Utility Customer Service Department.
