  Police Officer I:          $52,260-$64,894


  Police Officer II:         $54,873-$68,139

Det. Quinley is a 19 year veteran at GPD, an Appalachian State University Graduate with her Master's Degree in Public Administration and her Advanced Law Enforcement Certificate from the State of NC.  She has served in Patrol and Community Policing.  Detective Quinley is the full-time Recruiter and Training Officer for new Cadets.  She is a member of our Regional Crisis Negotiator Team and an NCJA instructor Specializing in Mental Health and Child Passenger Safety.

Lieutenant Eric Wiggins

Lt. Wiggins is a 25 year veteran at GPD, a graduate of Belmont Abbey College with his Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology. He has served on patrol, SWAT Sniper, Traffic Enforcement, STO, and Detective Bureau. He is currently the Lieutenant for the Office of Professional Standards.

Detective Dover has served at Gastonia Police Department for 27 years; he has an Associate's Degree in Criminal Justice and an Advanced Law Enforcement Certificate from the State of North Carolina. He has served on Patrol and as a Training Officer in Community Policing and 17 years as a Detective investigating Crimes against people.
