Rate of Pay:  $21.5384 Hourly.  Part time position available in the Police/PARC to perform complex professional work relating to (1) the study and analysis of public safety data using ESRI’s Geographic Information Systems (GIS) software and other crime analysis products for the purpose of alerting and educating the public safety staff of emerging data patterns, fostering knowledgeable decision making and assisting in resource allocation by location and time; (2) the design, development and implementation of computerized information management systems, including systems analysis and training; and (3) the design and implementation of computer based applications that produce management information reports that are accurate, timely and formatted to simplify understanding and prevent misinterpretation of data.  Essential Functions:  Act as liaison between police personnel and other partnering agencies; analyze user problems and/or opportunities as they relate to information processing; gather and study data for developing and/or modifying problem solving efforts; train police personnel and other partnering agencies in using GIS for mapping and crime analysis; Uses computers to generate management reports that employ graphics and map presentation to portray complex information in a clear, concise, format; during periods of emergency, and other times when needed due to expertise of application, serves as a backup operator for full-time analyst when not available for an extended period of time; studies public safety data for emerging patterns and series using GIS and other microcomputer tools; perpetuates refinement and efficiency in workflow processes of public safety agencies; performs tasks relating to information systems as required.  Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:  Thorough knowledge of the work practices of law enforcement, fire service, jail, emergency medical services and emergency communication center; including their work flow processes, the dynamics of their work, nature of duties, manner in which they interface with one another and the uniqueness of their operations.  Comprehensive working knowledge of public safety reporting system requirements including NIBRS (National Incident Based Reporting System), and ability to translate those requirements into logical system design requirements.  Have familiarity with public safety agency accreditation standards, such as CALEA (The Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies).  Possess thorough knowledge of modern GIS and database management systems.  Thorough knowledge of microcomputer based business graphics, electronic spreadsheets, word processors and graphic user interfaces for relational databases, as well as the proven ability to use same.  Thorough knowledge of data processing methods and procedures with emphasis on concepts relating to on-line processing, distributed processing, shared resource management and direct access technology.

Assistant Customer Service Manager

Pay grade has a minimum annual start of $41,366 with a midpoint of $60,177.  Position available in Financial Svcs/Revenue Collection.
